About Block Jointing Motar
Sunrise power bond block jointing Mortar is a single component, ready to use product, with enhanced polymer additive, which provide excellent result. This adhesive is suitable Mainly for AAC, Concrete, Hollow blocks.

Method of Application
Surface Preparation- Prepare the surface before the application of block adhesive by removing oil, inhibiting agents, dirt, dust
- Clean the surface following suitable methods like by using wire brush, water jetting, mopping etc.
- Block should be wet before applying block adhesive
Mixing
- Sunrise power bond block adhesive requires 26%- 30% (10-12 lit) potable water
- Add sunrise power bond block adhesive to the measured quantity of water, while continuously stirring using a mechanical, stirrer 2-3 minutes to ensure a desired consistency and mix should be free of lumps
- Allow the mix to stand for 5 minutes to mature and then mix it again before use
- Do not add more water to alter the mix consistency or to extend the pot life. Futher water addition will hamper the adhesion strength of the block adhesive
- Any block fixing after 10 minutes of spreading sunrise power bond block adhesive will lead to improper adhesion and may result in de-bonding and drying of adhesive
- Above 1200mm there should be concrete band along the length of wall for stability and proper bonding, further work can be carried out after 24 hr

Precaution
- Not suitable for application on cement sheet, plasterboard, plywood.
- Not suitable for application on metal sheet or plastic substrates.
- Don't apply in direct sunlight.

- Minimum 24 hours trafficable time, for further work.
- Work should be done at atm temperature. Pot life, open time depends upon surface absorption, atmospheric condition at site.

Shelf Life
